Access to cardiovascular care and the risk of developing cardiovascular disease can vary considerably within a city.

Addressing these inqualities is crucial to improving cardiovascular health within a city population.

This event organised by Cork city on 12 October 2026 in the Mardyke Pavillion, Cork, will showcase research perspectives, including those within Cities@Heart, and discuss how these can be translated to policy and practice.

The event will feature vital roundtable discussions where participants will be challenged to co-design an initiative or intervention that they believe could make a difference in cardiovascular care inequality in Cork.
